The Fast One has been held, in different forms, for more than 25 years. It is a prestigious Cat A National Classic and we envisage, once again, to welcome all the Licensed riders. In 2023, due to the chaotic and dilapidated state of some of the roads along the route, the organizers had to devise a new route. Since we were not sure if this new route would be conducive to the higher speeds of the Licensed riders, we decided to exclude them from entering. All potholes along the route were also fixed which gained the compliments of all riders. From comments and opinions gathered from many people that rode the 2023 race, they all loved it and were in favour of this new route. We have therefore now decided to include all licensed rider categories again. We welcome you all and wish you a very pleasant ride. NO HELMET - NO RIDE Entries close on the 22nd of January, at Midnight. There will be no entries on the day of the race but there will be late entries during registration and substitutions will be available at R50 Although all cyclists are requested to collect their numbers during registration, for those who live very far, numbers may be collected on the day of the race, but cyclists need to be there earlier to avoid starting late. The organizers take no responsibility for any delay the cyclist(s) may experience in collecting the number.
